Paralegal Studies Program – September 2017
While completing this certification, I balanced a full-time job, family responsibilities, and caring for my 18-month-old daughter, which required careful time management. My husband and I adopted a frugal lifestyle to fund the course, and my family’s support was invaluable, helping me find time for research, case studies, and other academic needs.
The Paralegal Studies program has equipped me with the skills to excel as a professional, including business practices, client communication, and office management. I can effectively apply critical thinking and analysis in both written and face-to-face discussions for material development and documentation.
Articulate Storyline Certificate – April 2023
E-learning content is essential for supporting diverse talent development initiatives, from microlearning modules to comprehensive employee training programs. Mastering e-learning content creation not only boosts my efficiency but also sets me apart professionally. With expertise in Articulate Storyline, I design innovative, interactive e-learning solutions tailored to meet an organization’s talent development needs.
Virtual Instructional Design Certificate – September 2022
Through the Virtual Instructional Designer certification, I gained skills in developing comprehensive e-learning design plans, storyboarding content, strategizing for effective development, selecting appropriate delivery media (e.g., video, text, SCORM), collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce high-quality content, and curating materials tailored for self-paced learning.
These skills have allowed me to apply learning theories, the ADDIE framework, and the needs assessment process to create impactful e-learning modules and courses. Additionally, I learned to evaluate these modules and development processes to drive continuous improvement, ensure future readiness in virtual instructional design, and plan for ongoing professional growth.
